On December 5th, I finished writing a novel.
It’s the second one I’ve finished in Japan, and the first I’ve started here. I began working on it on July 30th and completed it, logging a steady 1-2 hours a day on it, in just a hair over four months. It consists of 24 chapters, 83,000 words, about half a million keystrokes, coming out to approximately 300-350 printed book pages, depending on font and type size. It’s the twin, so to speak, or at least a companion novel, to the one I started in the U.S. and finished in Japan around the beginning of July (slightly shorter). Edits and rewrites come next. I’m pretty happy with myself, especially considering it’s not the only thing I’ve done in my spare time, much less the only writing I’ve done.
More updates coming soon, with pictures, etc. Until then, thanks for checking in.

Go, Wolfgang! Well done! Do you need anyone to be readers? I volunteer!
